CONSTRUCTION
When setting up the carpet correctly, a few things are crucial for the product's full functionality. First, loosen the Velcro strips, unroll the NHZ 1000, and roughly lay it in the correct location. Now connect the ends of the carpet with the wide Velcro strips to form a perfect circle.
Now place the carpet exactly where you want it to stay, remove the protective film from the adhesive pads one by one, and press them firmly onto the hall floor (we place the protective film under the carpet). The carpet should have very good adhesion to the hall floor. If the pads are already dirty and no longer adhere well, they can be wiped off with a wet cloth.
Equally crucial is the Velcro connection between the set's feet and the top of the carpet. We've found this works best if you remove the rubber studs on the feet (you only need these for the gym floor anyway). Now attach the included Velcro strips to the bottom of the feet and carefully place the set in the center of the carpet. The No-Hit Zone carpet and net will no longer be so easy to move.
DISMANTLING
After you've had a lot of fun on the net and haven't had to move the set around once, it's time to dismantle it.
After removing the roundnet set, you should carefully peel the adhesive strips off the gym floor. It's best to start at a corner and peel them off slowly—as if you were trying to torture someone with a wax strip. If you pull too sharply on the carpet, there's a risk that the adhesive pad will start to come off. Once you've removed the pad, immediately remove the protective film.
Once you've removed all four adhesive pads from the floor, you can remove the wide Velcro strips and turn the rug over. Now start at one side and roll the rug up so that the inside edge remains as flat as possible. Practice makes perfect.
Reattach the wide Velcro strips and the NHZ 1000 is successfully dismantled and ready for the next use.
